Every league needs to take on new members to keep growing as a league and to keep numbers up. New members are referred to as 'Fresh Meat'. I created this A5 flyer for Inner West Roller Derby League's Fresh Meat intake for May 2013. I wanted something fun and memorable, not just another boring flyer. Inspired by Roy Lichtenstein, I used a comic book style throughout, featuring his artwork on the front.
